The term "Salvation" encompasses the total work of God by which He seeks to rescue man from the ruin, doom, and the power of sin and bestows upon him the wealth of "His Grace" and eternal life, ( 1 Peter 3-5, John 3:16 ), and all provisions for abundant life now, ( John 10:10, Ephesians1:3-8 ), and eternal glory ( Ephesians 2:4-8 ).
The word "Salvation" communicates the deliverance, safety, preservation, soundness, restoration, and healing. "Salvation" means to affect successfully the full delivery of someone or something from impending danger.

"WHO IS ABLE TO SAVE"
It is possible for a person to have the desire to but not the ability to save. When we go to a doctor he may have the ability but he may not want to save, because of none sufficient medical coverage, lack of knowledge and so on.

THE PAST...Believers are saved from the penalty of sin, and "spiritual death" , once and for all, through the finished work of Jesus Christ. "EPHESIANS 2:5.8 , HEBREWS 1:9"

THE PRESENT...Those who believe are still being saved, from the carnal nature we have and the things that have taken a stronghold in us, only by the Spirit of God we are empowered to live according to the will of God, to live a holy life. "2 THESS. 2:13 , 1 PET. 15 , GAL. 2:19-20.

THE FUTURE...As believers we will have a glorified new body, and once and for all saved from the penalty of sin, we may not be perfect in this world, but will be conform into the character of Christ and then the ultimate glorification. "ROMANS 8:29 , 1 JOHN 2:3 , PHIL. 3:12-14.

"When our lives manifest the power of the Holy Spirit, we become a living testimony of the power of God, and people will be drawn to us, and wonder what must I do to be save.
RECONCILIATION...To cause to be friendly, to bring back, to make peace. When a person is in sin, sin will cause a person to be separated from God, Reconciliation brings a person back into fellowship, right standing with God. "ROMANS 5:10 , 2 CORINTHINAS 5:19"
